Meet the Owner
Hello, I'm Peter Downard, and my journey into the world of cleaning started with a rather simple task—cleaning horse stalls. While it may have been an unusual introduction to cleaning for work it normalized dirty manual labor which slowly turned into one of my most valuable skills. In my 3 years of professional House Cleaning, I’ve transformed my passion for cleanliness into a fulfilling career as a professional cleaner.
I began my professional cleaning career working alongside my sister Noelle at her business. Her mentorship was invaluable as I began learning the ins and outs of the cleaning industry. With her guidance and my growing dedication to providing excellent service, I took the leap and started Downard Cleaning in December 2022. Since then, the most valuable thing I've learned is the importance of creating good systems. So, let's systemize your cleaning because that's our business.
For the first 6 months I built my client base the old-fashioned way—by knocking on doors in neighborhoods around Sacramento. It wasn’t always easy, but with determination and a commitment to quality, I earned the trust of homeowners. Since then I've expanded to providing move-out and office cleaning to the Real Estate Industry.
